Electrical Automation Services Inc. is an authorized dealer of Stealth Monitoring Inc. (“Stealth”) and is excited to offer clients the most advanced live video surveillance service available today.

Electrical Automation Services Inc. will design and install a surveillance system for you. Stealth will offer the live video monitoring service through the internet to deter and reduce crime. Stealth is unique in that they not only use video analytics and motion detection to monitor low motion facilities, but they also monitor high traffic areas or high risk clients with trained operators and dedicated monitors streaming in continuous live video. Stealth offers a higher level of service than other delayed monitoring company to catch criminals on the property before an event occurs and dispatch police immediately to have them arrested. The police usually come faster when called because Stealth notifies them that the burglary is in progress and the intruders are still on the property.
Why buy a security system to record that intruders have covered their faces or are wearing hoods and have spent hours burglarizing your facility? Without live monitoring, you will not catch a high percent of the criminals.
The surveillance system can be integrated to access control systems to open and close doors or gates remotely. Audio speakers, lights or sirens can be remotely activated to send messages to ask people to leave or validate someone trying to enter.
Contact Electrical Automation Services Inc. at (877) 538-3274 for more information about installing a surveillance system with live video monitoring.

IBM and Honeywell division collaborate to advance smarter buildings

ARMONK, NY, July 28, 2010 – IBM (NYSE:IBM) said today it plans to work with Tridium, Inc. to develop new technology and solutions that will allow companies to maximize efficiency of their new and existing buildings and facilities while keeping an eye on profits.

Tridium, part of Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions group, is a global provider of software and embedded hardware that allows for integration and control of the numerous devices, systems and networks found in commercial buildings and retail structures.

Tridium’s Niagara and Sedona software enable the integration and control of virtually every system and device in any facility from HVAC equipment, lighting and generators to gas pumps, ovens, and medical devices. The companies plan to integrate IBM Tivoli Monitoring for Energy Management and IBM Maximo Asset Management enterprise software with Niagara and Sedona to create secure, Internet-enabled networks that will allow for new levels of energy management, integrate thousands of disparate systems and devices, and analyze vast streams of real-time data.

Applying IBM’s advanced software will let managers know if their buildings and the systems inside are operating at maximum performance and profitability, a major concern in many industries, including retail. For example, instead of a convenience store’s failed refrigeration unit or broken coffee machine going unnoticed, the advanced systems planned by IBM and Tridium will automatically generate work orders and dispatch repairmen to the scene before the store manager is even aware the ice cream is melting or the java has stopped flowing.

Tridium technology supports hundreds of key protocols and networks used by the providers of building-automation systems—including open-standards-based software, cellular networks and Internet Protocols. These protocols allow different physical objects to communicate to each other, often called “the Internet of Things.”

“Our work to create smarter buildings, will be enhanced by Tridium technology that allow the many of the systems that constitute a building – heat, water, sewage and electricity – to be controlled and automated,” said David Bartlett, vice president, Industry Solutions, IBM Software. “Together we’ll be able to give clients greater intelligence and control of their buildings and of the physical world.”

“Our technologies embrace many communications methods in order to support the integration of these disparate systems and devices, facilitating better control and awareness,” said Steve Fey, Tridium’s president. “Our focus has always been on the integration and interoperability of all of these systems, whether wired or wireless. Now, with IBM we can deliver an end-to-end IP-based infrastructure for any type of building and deliver real-time information, asset intelligence, and analysis from virtually every device and sensor in the network for decision support around the globe.”

New emerging technologies will make IP (Internet Protocol) a common standard for connecting smart sensors and devices to the enterprise. IBM plans to adopt and promote Tridium’s open-source Sedona application environment. Sedona enables secure and IP-based device networks and advanced data analytics, bringing new automation capabilities to facilities and increased levels of control to management.

Smarter Buildings for a Smarter Planet
IBM, a member of the Internet Protocol for Smart Objects (IPSO) Alliance, helps create, manage and maintain the world’s most intelligent and interconnected infrastructures from smarter buildings, cities, utilities, offices, transportation systems and operations in every industry.
About Tridium Inc.
Tridium is the global leader in application software frameworks for open platforms, automation infrastructure technology, energy management and device-to-enterprise integration solutions. The company’s technologies extend connectivity, integration and interoperability to the millions of devices deployed in the market today and empowers manufacturers to develop intelligent equipment systems and smart devices that enable collaboration and communication between the enterprise and edge assets.

Honeywell is pleased to announce the release of WEBs-AX with Niagara version 3.5 which is available and ready for download. WEBs-AX 3.5 includes many new usability and scalability functions such as Platform Tunneling and Program Module Builder Support, Floating License Repository, Writable Niagara Virtual Components, On-call Alarm Service and Station-based discovery.

WEBs-AX hosts (Controllers and Supervisors) are currently being delivered with NiagaraAX 3.5 license. WEBStation-AX, WEBPro, Alarm Console, and SoftJACE are available for download from the Buildings Forum.

New Features Improve Productivity

Platform Tunneling - This feature enables the Niagara platform tools to be connected to a WEBs-AX controller through another Niagara station. This is useful in network topologies where only the supervisor in a system has a public IP address.

Program Module Builder - Allows users that are accustomed to creating Niagara program objects to build their program objects into a standard Niagara module that can be versioned and deployed using the standard Niagara software management tools.

Floating License Repository - This permits Niagara installations to retrieve a license from the repository at startup rather requiring a license to be permanently installed and allows multiple Niagara runtimes to share a pool of licenses by limiting the number of licenses in concurrent use.

Writable Niagara Virtual Components - Niagara Virtual Components were first introduced in Release 3.4 but only supported read-only operation. In 3.5, Niagara Virtual Components are now commandable and can be used in graphics.

On-call Alarm Service - The On-call Alarm Service is an extension to Niagara alarm routing which makes it much easier to route alarms to groups of people. It supports time of day scheduling for routing to different groups of people and alarm escalation within a group of people.

Supervisor auto-configuration “Export Tags”- Allows certain elements within a station to be tagged as exports. When a station is added to a supervisor, an import “join” process can be initiated, which discovers all of the exports in a remote station and automatically maps them into the supervisor. Station elements that can be exported include points, histories, schedules, graphics, and files. This allows an integrator to avoid the time consuming manual process of discovering data in a JACE and mapping it into a supervisor.

Spyder Tool Compatibility
The Spyder Tool version 4.8.8 has been tested with the current 3.5.24 release. The tool can be downloaded from the Honeywell Buildings Forum. We plan to release the tool with newer, simpler versioning scheme, tested with the recent maintenance releases of 3.3 and 3.4 WEBs-AX versions.

Software Downloads and Additional Information
